application

It is our mission to find loving, healthy, happy homes for our miniature Australian Labradoodles, therefore we require our prospective families to complete our application and two phone interviews.  If approved, you will receive an invoice for a $500 non-refundable deposit. Upon receipt of the deposit, a reservation for the litter will be made. This, however, does not guarantee a puppy.

payment

Within 24 hours of your approval for the current litter, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal or direct deposit. The fee will be applied to the total cost of the puppy. By pickup, we must receice the remaining cost of the puppy. If you decide to pass on the current litter (for reasons including sex, color, temperament), you will retain your spot on the waitlist for the next litter. Please note that the cost of the puppy includes their initial veterinary visits, extensive socialization program and au revoir bag (food, treats, toys, leash, etc).

Allocation

We work hard to match families with their new puppies, hence our application and phone interviews. At seven weeks, puppies will be matched with their new families based on our evaluation of their temperament in conjunction with your preferences and lifestyle. While we take your preferences into account, we cannot guarantee you will receive your pick of the litter. Occasionally, we do not find the right match for your family in the current litter. In this case, you will be moved to the next litter.

Training + socialization

Southern Labradoodle puppies are socialized from birth under the direction of a certified dog trainer. From day three to day thirteen, our puppies are stimulated following the protocol outlined ENS Program developed by the United States Military. From then on, Southern Labradoodle puppies work with our certified trainer to become comfortable around common items and experiences - in addition to being loved on and socialized in a family environment.

Additional training (for example crate training) is available upon request. We are also happy to arrange for our trainer to work with you and your new puppy one-on-one.

pick up

Puppies are ready for pickup at eight weeks. You may either pick up your puppy in San Antonio, Texas or arrange for your puppy to be delivered. Please note that delivery is provided on a first come, first serve basis for the price of a round-trip ticket plus $250.

Further instructions and details for pickup will be provided at seven weeks.
